The Student Organizations Council is responsible for all chartered organizations on campus, including the organizations’ members and leaders. Each semester, they hear and vote on charter requests and review potential organizations’ constitutions and bylaws to ensure they are in accordance with the mission of the University. It is chaired by two co-chairs appointed by the Treasurer of Student Government.

SOC was separated from the senate of Student Government and placed in the Student Organizations Branch under Student Government Bill No. 4 in the 2022-2023 school year.
