The time for Student Government Elections, the representative governing body for undergraduate Wake Forest University students, is fast approaching.
Below are important dates for the elections process, as well as the Student Government Elections Packet.
Please be aware of the following dates regarding Student Government Elections:

 

Tuesday, February 19th – Elections Packet is released
Tuesday, March 5th 12:00AM – Candidates may collect signatures
Thursday, March 12th 12:00AM – Campaign staff offers may be made
Tuesday, March 19th 5:00PM – Petitions due to SG office, Benson 304
                                       8:00PM – Candidates’ Meeting, Green 162
Sunday, March 24th 8:00PM – Executive Candidates debate
Tuesday, March 26th 12:00AM – Polls open on WIN
                                        5:00PM – Campaign budgets due
                                        11:59PM – Polls close online
                                        Midnight – Results posted, Benson 304

 


Student Government Elections are a sanctified process for the student body of Wake Forest University, and it is vital that they remain so. It is the goal of the Elections Committee that the following guidelines ensure that all elections are fair and equitable, independent of the candidate or office in question. The campaign environment, enforcement of all campaign rules, and treatment of candidates in informing, investigating, and punishing campaign violations is upheld by the Elections Committee made up of: SG’s faculty advisory, the SG Executive Branch, the Student Trustee, the Judicial Co-Chairs, and the Judiciary Committee Co-Chairs.
